Body Jnana brings together movement, creativity and somatic practice to support wellbeing, participation and connection.
Founded by a qualified Dance Movement Therapist, Body Jnana offers inclusive, person-centred movement experiences that can be adapted across ages, abilities and settings.
Jnana (pronounced “YAH-nah”) is a Sanskrit word meaning knowledge, wisdom or understanding particularly knowledge gained through direct experience and insight.
Rachel is a qualified Dance Movement Therapist with a background in community services, dance, acting and movement, and working alongside people with diverse abilities and needs.
Her approach brings together somatic practice, creative movement and therapeutic principles, creating spaces where people can explore movement in ways that feel accessible, meaningful and supportive.
Body Jnana reflects the idea that the body itself is a resource — one we can learn to listen to.
